Escapements and clock projects
First and second attempts at escapements. An Anchor and a Galileo.
Neither ran for very long but great learning projects.
My third clock escapement. F. Bertoud escapement (works similar to detent). Runs for six minutes on a 70 gram weight.
My fourth clock escapement (age 13). Pinwheel escapement. Escape wheel 24 teeth. Runs for 17 minutes on a 70 gram weight. Pendulum has one second beat.
