First the blower. This uses a 40W shaded pole motor and a home made impeller. Got the idea from http://woodgears.ca/

The unusual intake is so that there is no direct line of sight to the blower for noise reduction.

Later this changed to parallel rather than hinged.

this later changed from two sets of ribs to one and from 90mm travel to 50mm.

Layout of the holes in the windchest. Biggest pipes in front arranged with largest in the middle. Rear rank arranges chromatically since they will not really be seen.

Rollerboard for the front rank. Lots of attempts needed to optimise this arrangement. The biggest pipes will be in the middle.

Rollerdoard. Rear rank arranged chromatically. Much easier to design than the front rank.
