Finishing the keyboard

It has taken a long time since the last post to finish the keyboard. So many other things to do.
On a visit to Hatchlands house in Surrey, I saw that all the old clavichords had the veneer on the naturals in two parts, so this is how I set about the naturals. They are covered in pearwood, cut from a block on our bandsaw. Much cheaper to cut from a block than to buy sheet material. Sanding smooth takes forever though.

Finally finished.
