Keyboard

The keyboard is a complex beast. Spruce base with mahogany for the naturals and hazel for the sharps.

Lots of calculations needed for drilling the holes and the slots to control lateral movement.

First some new sections on the frame to support the keyboard.

Key bases all made. Each key is held at the far end with brass strips.
