First octave voiced

Its taken a long time making and adjusting the mechanism, but at long last it is ready I made a load of bits the wrong length and had to dismantle and remake the entire rear mechanism. That was tough.

So, I put all the pipes on and had a load of noisy leaky valves, so hardly any pipes worked properly, so the first task was to adjust the mechanism again to make sure the valves shut.

Chosing C sharp as the master, all the first octave was slowly voiced to the same loudness, and then only roughly tuned with the slide.

This is the result...

Front mechanism

Rear mechanism

Assembling the rear pipes

Return springs under the keys.

Squeak a bit but that is lost in the noise from the pipes.

Voicing is a long job.
