Near disasterous tuning

Looking back to the beginning.... The first parts I made were the pipes. These were tuned relative to our family piano. All seemed to be OK, although there was a slight nagging doubt in my mind as to how good the piano was. This was confirmed months later when the piano tuner said that he had never managed to tune the piano to concert pitch. My pipes were therefore half a semitone wrong.

We have since replaced the piano and got a tuning App on the android phone.

So, I set off with these new tools and shortened the pipes to achieve what I thought would be concert pitch. I still do not know how it happened but I cut off too much on all the pipes.

Much later.....

Rather than remake all the pipes, I decided to use half covers on the top to act as additional tuning features. I am now at concert pitch.

On a lighter note - Full CAD.
